How do I transfer my domain name out of SunStar Media's management so I can manage it myself?

SunStar Media manages domain name registration and renewals for many of it's customers, saving them time and effort in dealing with a third party's yearly billing, solicitations and fake renewal notices from competing registrars, and the possibility of losing a domain name due to old contact information on the domain name record. If you are interested in having SunStar Media manage your domain name, please contact us.
If you would like to transfer your domain name out of SunStar Media's management, follow the steps below.
Option 1: To transfer your domain name to a retail account within Network Solutions (the transfer is free of charge), complete the following steps:
- Contact us to remove the "Domain Protect" lock on your domain name, and to make sure the Account Holder email address is correct on the domain name record. (You can also check your domain name record here.)
- Go to: http://www.netsol.com/domain-name-registration/domain-transfer-service.jsp
- Enter your domain name (yourname.com)
- Choose the second option ("Person requesting to transfer [yourname.com], which is currently registered with another Network Solutions Customer or Partner, to my account.")
- Continue through screens to "View Your Order"
- "Proceed to purchase" (Channel Transfer costs nothing)
- Log into existing Network Solutions retail account or create new one
- The Account holder will receive a transfer authorization request via email from Network Solutions
Option 2: To transfer your domain name to a registrar other than Network Solutions, complete the following steps:
- Contact us to:
- Remove the "Domain Protect" lock on your domain name
- Make sure the Account Holder email address is correct on your domain name record
- Send the transfer Authorization Code to the Account Holder's email address
- Submit a transfer from within the outside registrar. Include the Authorization Code from Step #1.
- The Account holder will receive a transfer authorization request via email from Network Solutions
